Refund policy

GENERAL RETURNS

We want you to be 100% satisfied. We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery for eligible items. If you have a concern, please reach out—we’ll do our best to help.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused, with no signs of wear, mounting, alteration, or damage
  • In the original packaging with all accessories and documents included
  • Returned in the same condition received

LOOSE GEMSTONES & CERTIFICATES

  • Loose gemstones, including lab diamonds, are non-returnable and final sale once shipped.
  • If a gemstone arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days so we can arrange a replacement or refund.
  • Any items shipped with documents (e.g., IGI pamphlet / certificate) must be returned with those documents for any refund or exchange to be processed.

CUSTOM / ENGRAVED / MADE-TO-ORDER

  • Custom, engraved, and made-to-order pieces are final sale and not eligible for standard returns.
  • If a custom or made-to-order item arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll offer repair, remake, or refund at our discretion.
  • Please contact us promptly to arrange a resolution.

PRODUCT REPRESENTATION & VARIATIONS

  • One-of-a-kind gemstones show the exact stone you’ll receive.  
  • Standardized gemstone and jewelry listings use representative photos; slight differences in gemstone color, tone, brilliance, or proportions are normal and not considered defects.
  • Luminous Made jewelry is crafted with care but may include subtle variations in metal finish or hand-setting placement.  
  • We are not responsible for damage that occurs after purchase or from third-party setting, resizing, or modification. Altered items are ineligible for return or exchange.

HOW TO START A RETURN

  • Email us at luminousmadestore@gmail.com (or use our Contact page) with your order number and reason for return.
  • If approved, we’ll provide the return address and instructions. Unauthorized returns sent without approval may be refused.

RETURN SHIPPING & FEES

  • For change-of-mind returns (nothing defective / incorrect), a small return-shipping or label fee may apply (e.g., $5 label fee or actual carrier cost).
  • If your item arrives defective or incorrect, we cover the return shipping.

ORDER ISSUES OR ITEMS RECEIVED DAMAGED

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 30 days if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can make it right (replacement, exchange, or refund).

INSPECTION & DENIED RETURNS

All returns are inspected upon receipt. Returns may be denied if items show wear, mounting, alteration, damage, or are missing required documents / packaging.
If a return is denied, we will notify you by email. You may choose to have the item shipped back at your expense within 14 days of notification. If return shipping is not arranged within that time, the item may be considered forfeited.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Loose gemstones (including lab diamonds) — final sale
  • Custom, engraved, or made-to-order items — final sale (eligible for repair, remake, or refund if damaged or incorrect)
  • Final-sale items and gift cards
  • If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before purchasing or returning.

EXCHANGES

For the fastest exchange, return the original item (if eligible). Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the desired item.

REFUNDS

If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days after inspection. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the credit. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval, contact us at luminousmadestore@gmail.com.
